Fort de Seclin
The museum of Fort de Seclin was born from the passion of family for history and renovation of old stones . After 7 years of titanic labour , the family open the museum in 2003. The gallery was dedicated to the history of the First World War and the fortification from 1870 to 1920

The weekend a appointement a shortly before 3pm for 1hour and half 30/2hours guided tour. Cover well and put on a forest walk.Everyday appointment from 10 adults.

Musée d'archéologie
Located in a former mont de piété (pawnshop), set by Wenceslas Cobergher in 1622, this museum has great local and regional collections which date from prehistory to the Middle Ages
Time-travel into the past
Prestigious items from recent digs are on display, such as those from the Gallo-Roman necropolis on Rue Perdue in Tournai which yielded a sarcophagus which was listed in 2012 as a “Treasure of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation” and items from the Merovingian cemeteries in the Saint Brice quarter, from which came the grave known as the grave “of the Saxon Princess”, which was also listed as a “Treasure of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation”, in May 2013.
The military history
A stone’s throw from Grand-Place, the museum takes visitors on a trip through the military history of Tournai and of the Tournai area, from 1100 to 1945.
From the French Revolution to the creation of Belgium via the first French Empire
On the ground floor, a rich collection of arms, uniforms and equipment illustrates the French Revolutions and the first French Empire, the Dutch period and the Belgian period, placing the emphasis on regiments which were garrisoned in the town (cuirassiers, lancers, light cavalry, riflemen, artillery, etc.) until 1914...
The Museum of Fine Arts
The Museum of Fine Arts in Tournai constitutes an exceptional collection of heritage, due both to its architecture and to the extensive nature of its art collections.
Major works in the museum’s collections
The Museum of Fine Arts has a collection of modern artworks donated to it by the Brussels patron Henri Van Cutsem and the only two works by Manet exhibited in Belgium.
The paintings and sculptures on show there range from the Flemish Primitives to (Campin, de la Pasture, Bruegel, etc.) to contemporary artists. The 17th and 18th Centuries are represented by Rubens, Jordaens, Snyders, Watteau, etc.
As regards impressionists, admire the works of Manet, Monet, Seurat and Van Gogh. A large space is set aside for Belgian artists (Ensor, Claus, de Braekeleer, etc.) and for Tournaisian artists (Rogier de la Pasture, Gallait, Pion, Dumoulin, etc.).

Parc Mosaïc
Large green area with 10 contemporary style landscaped gardens, children's activities and restaurant. In the heart of the Parc de la Deûle, laureate of the National Landscape Award in 2006 and the Council of Europe Landscape Award in 2009, nestles an immense space of extraordinary nature ... composed of 10 inviting gardens to dream, and to open up to the world. Welcome to MOSAIC! MOSAIC, the garden of cultures is located in Houplin-Ancoisne. This park is made up of ten contemporary gardens that pay tribute to the origins of migrants living in the Lille metropolis. It blends harmoniously botanical, works of art and rare domestic animals. Each of them was realized by a team of landscape artists and visual artists, after international calls for projects. Fruit of the talent of landscape painters Jacques Simon, Yves Hubert and Jean-Noël Capart. Regularly, MOSAÏC offers concerts, storytelling, dance, introductory arts workshops, staggered tours etc.

Parking: 16 places reserved for people with reduced mobility PMR drop-off: possibility to be dropped off in the wagon for PMR (the car must then be parked at the visitor car park) - access by the towpath, ring the intercom to the studs

Displacements in the site
Electric carts or canes seats on free loan for people with reduced mobility (possibility to book them by phone) Stabilized pathway in sand all the way. There are 2 bis routes (in blue on the map) for people with reduced mobility to get around the footbridges In the Woven Garden and the Premier Garden, wooden pathways are difficult to access for the visually impaired and PRM.

Musée Matisse
Fleuron culturel du Nord, ce musée créé en 1952 par matisse lui-même, vous plonge dans l’œuvre de ce célèbre peintre. Spécialisé dans l’accueil du public ayant un handicap, il propose des visites adaptées pour les groupes ou des audio guides pour les individuels
Ouvert tous les jours de 10h à 18h sauf le mardi.
Accueil des scolaires à partir de 9h.
Fermé le 1er janvier, le 1er novembre, le 25 décembre, le 22 septembre (le 23 si le 22 est un dimanche).

Musée portuaire de Dunkerque
Seul ou en famille, venez parcourir les siècles et la grande histoire du port de Dunkerque et replongez dans la vie quotidienne des femmes et des hommes qui travaillent sur les quais ou sur les bateaux.
Le musée à quai : dans un ancien entrepôt de tabac du XIXe, vous sillonnerez des expositions interactives pour mieux comprendre la vie des ports et leur évolution au fil des siècles.
Le musée à flot : en face de l’ancien entrepôt de tabac, vous pourrez monter à bord de plusieurs navires transformés en musée et vous immerger dans la vie quotidienne des marins.

Printemps et Toussaint : visite des bateaux tous les jours (y compris le mardi) à 15h30.
Pendant les vacances d’été :
Juillet et août (du 3 juillet au 31 août 2010) : visite de la Duchesse Anne tous les jours à 14h30, 15h30 et 16h30.
Nouveauté : à partir de l’été, le musée vous propose une visite couplée du phare et du Sandettie : le lundi après-midi à 14h30 et le jeudi soir à 19h.
